The cucumbers have already grown to the top of their makeshift trellis - reaching around 6 feet tall, I guess. As can be expected, the vines are really producing fruit now, too. I'm making pickles tomorrow. :)
Oh, sure....rub salt into the wound. You knew my cucumbers are only 6" high, didn't you? But hey, they actually have a couple of blossoms and a teeny tiny cucumber!

ReplyDeleteSorry, Granny......I'll make it up to you by taking a photo of my pickles later..haha....
DeleteEnjoy your pickles :) I just transplanted 3-inch seedlings to the garden this weekend. I have a ways to go.
ReplyDeleteRachel - I definitely will. They're gonna be sliced dill.....
DeleteMine should start coming in next week, too!
ReplyDeleteReally....... That's pretty quick.
DeleteAnd mine have just broken the ground. At least they have germinated. Well some of them. I replanted others.
ReplyDeleteDaphne - the bugs are so numerous this year, mine will be dying out about the time you're harvesting, I bet.
